Melissa Spitz, an industry representative, works closely with the CIM Program and has graciously volunteered to be the MTSU point of reference for questions that might need an industry point of view. Melissa has worked with BASF for eight years and has hired several MTSU CIM graduates and student interns.
Ms. Spitz is the Sales Performance Manager for BASF Construction Chemicals, LLC - Admixture Systems. She has been with the organization for over eight years. She supports the entire Admixtures Sales Organization as it relates to performance. As the Sales Performance Manager Melissa is responsible for improving the effectiveness of the sales organization by identifying and implementing tools, programs and processes. She is part of the Sales Management Team and one of her key roles is to create and maintain critical relationships internally and externally to ensure that the organization’s field sales skills set and value proposition are aligned with the customer’s needs. Melissa is responsible for all training for the Sales Organization and is also the Safety Leader for Sales.
